This time last week I was at Kingscote Barn in Gloucestershire for the South West regional final of The Wedding Industry Awards 2015. I was delighted to be shortlisted in both the Florist and Best Newcomer categories and was really just using the experience as an opportunity to celebrate my first year in business and meet some new people…
I wasn’t expecting to win anything and was absolutely flabbergasted to be named Best Newcomer across six counties in the South West! It is really a huge honour to win and I’m now on the shortlist with six other businesses from around the country for the national title, to be announced at a super-spangly ceremony at Cafe De Paris in London on 15th January. New outfit shopping has begun 
The winners are decided by an esteemed panel of industry experts, who pick apart the entries and also take into account the comments and scores of real clients from the last 12 months. I was up against all sorts of other new wedding businesses, from cake makers and photographers, to musicians and even other florists.
Thank you again to all of the fab couples who took the time to register their vote and write such kind things about me and my service. It means so much to produce a part of your special day and make the wedding dream come true for you. It means even more that you felt I nailed it.
