I headed up to Wiltshire on Sunday to deliver Natalie and Dave’s flowers. It was such a beautiful day and I really rather enjoyed the drive… all green rolling hills and sheep and whatnot. The flowers perfectly matched the sunny spring weather, incorporating tulips, roses and thistles (faintly Scottish theme) in shades of pink, purple, blue and cream, with a dash of lime foliage to really give the colours some zing.
Natalie’s bouquet was in an informal hand-tied style, bound with rustic hessian and twine. Simple, unfussy and natural…
The bridesmaids carried gorgeous simple bouquets of tulips and the gents wore mixed buttonholes to complement the bridal flowers…
Natalie also had a smaller ‘throwing’ bouquet made, so she could safely indulge in the bouquet tossing tradition without damaging her flowers or injuring anyone with the larger, heavier version!
Congratulations to the newlyweds- it was an honour to create your flowers and I loved the colours!
